DIAGNOSTIC SCREENING PRICING AND DESCRIPTION
Ultrasound Studies
Carotid Doppler evaluation of the blood flow in the carotid arteries for the presence of plaque which is the leading cause of stroke.
Abdominal Aorta Evaluation of the size of the abdominal aorta for the presence of an aneurysm which could lead to aortic rupture.
Peripheral Vascular Study
Ankle Brachial Index Evaluate the blood flow to the legs using blood pressure readings in the legs and arms.
Electrocardiograms
The Standard 12-Lead EKG which evaluates heart rhythm specifically looking for the presence of atrial fibrillation which could lead to stroke.
Spirometry
Spirometry is a simple test which measures lung function
Bone Density
Also know as a DEXA scan used to evaluate the presence of osteoporosis.
Retina Scan
The retina scan is quick, painless test which takes a photograph of the retina to evaluate the presence of diabetic retinopathy. There is no puff of air. The test is the same as getting your picture taken.
